Alastair and Sarah’s wedding was at the beginning of September so I guess it’s fair to say it was one of my last proper summer weddings. There were loads of really nice personal touches from the fete they arranged to the fleet of VW campers to ferry the wedding party around. It was one of the last really warm days I shot on and wedding photography and sunny days go together well. It was a nice job to do as the church and the marquee were really stunning. This part of Sussex is spoiled for beautiful churches and Birdham church is no exception, it’s probably breaking union code to say but a wedding photographers job is made a lot easier when the backdrops are so photogenic.
